Lovable Raises $400M at $13.3B — Vibe-Coding Platform Doubles Its Valuation in Eight Months

Lovable, the Stockholm-based app-building platform, closed $400 million in Series C funding at a $13.3 billion valuation. Menlo Ventures and EQT’s Scaleup Europe Fund co-led the round, joined by Balderton Capital and Carmignac from Europe, Kaszek Ventures and LTS Growth from Latin America, Tencent and World Innovation Lab from Asia, and Regent from the United States. Returning investors include Accel, CapitalG, DST Global, and Salesforce Ventures.

The raise doubles the company’s December 2025 valuation — Series B to Series C in under eight months.

The Numbers

Lovable launched in November 2024. Its operating metrics at the Series C:

  • 60 million projects created
  • 900 million monthly app visits
  • Employees at nearly two-thirds of the Fortune 500

The Fortune 500 penetration figure is the most significant signal. Reaching half the index in the first year was the Series B narrative; expanding to two-thirds within another eight months indicates enterprise adoption is compounding rather than plateauing.

What Lovable Is Building

The company’s pitch has shifted from “anyone can build software” to “anyone can run a software business.” Recent additions to the platform target commercial viability over prototype generation: payment integration via Stripe, SEO and AI-search discovery tooling, and enterprise connectors to Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and ElevenLabs.

The stated ambition is to become the single platform where people create new businesses and transform existing ones — a position that competes less with GitHub Copilot and more with platforms like Shopify or Webflow.

The Market

Lovable sits in the AI app-building category alongside Bolt (StackBlitz) and Replit. Its differentiation has been aggressive shipping on distribution connectors and commercial features rather than raw code generation benchmarks.

At $13.3B, Lovable’s valuation exceeds several specialist AI inference labs and open-weight model companies. It does not own a foundation model; its generation stack runs on frontier APIs. The valuation is a bet on distribution and product velocity, not on model ownership.

Europe’s largest AI funding rounds this year have concentrated in two areas: frontier infrastructure and app-layer platforms. Lovable is the leading app-layer bet. The EQT Scaleup Europe Fund co-lead makes it one of the most prominent European tech fund deployments of the year.
